Pentax K500 Review In the camera world, the Pentax is among the company names that are credited for bringing the SLR camera for the first time. With the 'Pentax K-500', the company is now entering the DSLR camera area. APS-C (23.7x15.7mm) 16 mega pixels CMOS sensor, 100-51200 ISO range, 6 fps drive motor, 11-point AF system, 30 full HD 1080p video recording, 25 and 24 fps, 30 HDR modes of range from 1/6000 to second and shutter speed are special features. View Finder gives around 100 percent range coverage. Apart from this, there is a 3-inch LCD display on the rear side. Distributing two different prices in the camera with some decrease in price, the Pentax has introduced it as a two option (kit) in the market so that it can reach more people in terms of budget and convenience. The first option is Rs. The PaintX coming in price of 29, 995 is DSLR, in which consumers have 18-55mm + camera body. The second option is Rs. 18-55mm + 50-200mm + camera body with the price of 38, 995. Pentax K500 Design and texture If you look at the texture, the K500 is more heavier than the other DSLR available on the entry-level market. Although, despite being a plastic body, it looks quite strong, but its weight is 590 grams, compared to the Nikon D-3300 and even Canon 1200 D, which looks strong. Controls, dials and buttons are fitted in the body such that you do not feel confused with them, even if you are a user of Nikon or Canon DSLR, then you do not have much time to use controls. Pentax claims that the K500 is built on the K-50 and despite the entry level camera it does not have 'Weather ceiling feature'. Dial three has been given - one mode changes, while the other two aperture and shutter are for speed control. Four-way pad with simple buttons for 3 inch LCD and setting control on the rear side. View Finder with a rubber eyecap has been made very comfortable. The SD card slot is given inside the plastic cover that can be opened on the right. Like other DSLR, it also has a hot-shoe port with the top-most pop-up flash unit. The battery chamber itself is in the bottom of the camera. The 1050 mAh rechargeable lithium or 4A battery is quite good. For the entry level, the more profitable premium is seen compared to its competitors. Buttons have also been given more than other DSLR in this price. Because of this, more control and feature can not be denied in comparison to other DSLR. Pentax K500 Image quality If pictures are taken on ISO 3200 (ISO 3200) in K-500 its photos are of high quality, there is no blurring. Photos from ISO 6400 to 12800 seem to be blurred. It has a good picture balance compared to the Nikon D3200 and Canon 1200 D. Auto White Balance works well in every Situation and you can trust the good picture on it. Pentax K500 Performance Talk about performances, so many places -500 works very well, but if the Pentax wants to make it the best in entry level DSLR then there is a scope for many improvements. Picture Quality, RAW and JPEG affect, but there is also a very beneficial feature in addition to this. That is, you can save the raw files in it, and it works even when you have not set the raw format save option in the camera. Autofocus fast works but the kit does a little bit on the lens. In addition to the voice, there is another problem in that the viewfinder has not been given the function of auto-focus. However, if you have not set an AF-A or Auto Point selection then you can shift between AF points. For Sporting Events, it is sometimes easy for those who are interested in photography. There are also some pre-sets, filters and color modes for amateur photographers.

Pentax K-500 review

The Pentex K-500 is an attractive DSLR. The quality of its image is also very good with many good features. Buying a DSLR without accessories and lenses can not really be called an intelligent deal, but for DSLR people starting the photography, this is a great option. However, going to Nikon or Canon will be a good choice for those who want to enhance their photography skills.
